This project provides an arena and expansion of  convention center facilities to the existing Veterans Memorial Auditorium.  The convention center (approximately $52,000,000 of the total) has approximately 100,000 square feet of exhibit halls and 15,000 square feet of meeting rooms plus office, storage and service areas for a project total of over 234,000 square feet.  The project provides for a future expansion of another 100,000 square feet of exhibit halls, 25,000 square feet of meeting rooms and a 20,000 square foot ballroom.  The arena is a 16,000 seat arena.  McCleskey Consulting is a consultant to Flack + Kurtz on the convention center.  Both Flack + Kurtz and McCleskey Consulting  were consultants to the engineer-of-record.
